The UK Government took Portugal off the green list on Thursday, 3 June 2021, and made other modifications as a result of the latest situation with Covid-19,
Portugal is officially being delisted from the green’ travel list from 3 June 2021, the UK Government has confirmed yesterday, but it’s not the only change.
From Tuesday,8 June 2021 it has also been sanctioned that Afghanistan, Bahrain, Costa Rica, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Sudan, and Trinidad and Tobago will shift to red list from amber list.
On 3 June 2021 the UK government announced an updated list of ‘green’ countries which UK travellers will be allowed to visit, relying on any local limitations, and not self-isolate on their return home. Wales has so far approved the same list of countries for foreign travel resolutions as the UK government and Westminster has provided an updated list, which has listed some countries moving between the green, amber and red lists.
