"A Must See" – Descendant of Japanese Emperor Praises Shen Yun


The Great-great-grandson of Japanese Meiji Emperor, who’s also the cousin of current Crown Prince Naruhito, saw Shen Yun Performing Arts at the Taoyuan Performance Center in Taiwan on March 30. He says after he returns to Japan, he will definitely recommend the show to his royal relatives.

Takeda Tsuneyasu, great-great-grandson of the Japanese Meiji Emperor and cousin of the current Crown Prince Naruhito, watched Shen Yun perform in Taiwan. He praised the performance for its superb technical execution and artistry.

“The synchronization of the backdrop and the dances are flawless, it’s so great! The dancing is excellent, the presentation is very rich, and I really enjoyed it.”

Takeda also says Shen Yun gives audiences a glimpse into China’s rich history and culture.

“China has a very long history, (the show) contains many elements from very ancient times, so it’s such a joy to watch.”

When he came to know that Shen Yun currently cannot go to China, Takeda felt it’s a pity.

“Even in China, there should be freedom of expression. I think it would be great if the Chinese people could see Shen Yun.”

Shen Yun Performing Arts will be touring Japan in May. Takeda said that he would be happy to recommend the show to other royal family members and hopes they won’t miss the opportunity to see Shen Yun.

“I haven’t seen any show like this, so I’ll tell them that they must see it.”

Shen Yun’s tour of Japan starts with a performance in Tokyo on May 19.

  1. Does this guy have a title? In Russian the male grand son would be a Grand Duke assuming the line of descent was male…..the son of the grand son would be styled HH and I think be a prince of Russia. I am not sure the great great grand son's son would have a title…..maybe but not sure. Of course the Tsar could elevate any person to any level he wanted. Sooooo I guess this guys is not titled. Wish i had a title.
