Wonder if dad had already bought the car before son's graduation and the keys were in the gift wrapped present….😏🎈 Reply Those 46 dislikes are from people who didn't get a car after graduating Reply While I only want my dad's presence on my graduation day..He passed away 4 years ago.. The Sargent of his platoon was asked to write a letter to the Family of their sons life with them before his death. From day one until death. These people who fought beside you and under your order. It was like loosing a real Brother. I wrote of a individual who was in our Platoon and had died while I was assigned to a special op. Upon returning finding out he had died while I was gone. A good man who never questioned an order. He was the soldier that looked out for his fellow soldier. He made no mistake and his death was un preventable. It had sadden the whole Platoon. As I wrote in the letter home to his mother and father, and siblings . I explained that all his training and his skills couldn’t have surmised to stop his death. He was sitting with five other soldiers when a sniper took his life with one shot. They were in the rear at our company compound on a three day R/R . The round hit his heart passing through his body striking another soldier in his leg shattering his bone. I had told them about his faith and he was telling us all the time that if anything ever happened to any of us that we should meet at the throne and wait on each other. I will be looking for him there . I believe the same as your son that Jesus was the Gift that took our place. And rose to sit on the right side of his Father. I know as you that your loss is never forgotten. I ask you not to be heart broken because our time will come when we see him again in Glory. Three weeks went by and a letter came to the Platoon Sergeant through our division and Battalion and company and Platoon to me with no name. I opened it wondering why someone would address the Platoon Sergeant in such a manner. It was from a sibling of the soldier who I had last written to his family. They were heartbroken and wanted me to know that I wasn’t as close to the soldier as a sibling was and could never fill the lost in such a manner as they had felt. I was a second tour trooper and had lost my older brother three weeks before their brother had died. My older brother was on his third tour when he was killed. My brother was in a different department of the service as I and the government flew me home for his burial and back to the battle field afterwords. I had the news paper clipping and a funeral home card made up with the death of my oldest brother who was in the country as PBR Chief when he died and my brother right above my age death right before their brother died. I have one younger brother who was in boot camp upon the death of our last brother. He and I make sure the flags fly over our two older brothers to this day. After I sent the sibling the letter his whole family wrote a letter to the Platoon Sergeant with the sweetest response that could have been sent for the prayer that we will rejoice at the throne together. SEMPER FIDELIS Reply This story SUCKS!!! Reply BLESS YOU BROTHER A THOUSAND CAR CANNOT GIVE YOU A HUG AND KISS..YOU MAY LOVE THE CAR BUT IT CAN NEVER LOVES YOU BACK…IT WILL NEVER DIE FOR YOU OR TAKE CARE OF YOU WHEN YOU ARE SICK..OR HUG YOU IN TIMES OF SADNESS OR JOIN YOU IN CELEBRATION FOR JOY.. Reply How sad that he lost all that time, love and memories because he chose anger. Reply so lovely , mostly aligned to reality many forget and let pride get the better of them, too late is too late then guilt coupled with hatred takes the better of you. Reply Nice but music could be better Reply Heart touching story man … Thank you and keep making more of these. ♥ Reply While growing up i asked my dad to gift me a car when i turn 21 however my dad was not in the position to do so when the time came. And to this date i still dont have a car but Hey on the bright side i still have my dad with me and his presence is far more valuable to me then a car!!!! Reply Jesus: cease from seeking right in the eyes of the world. https://youtu.be/t1SYwRKrMuM Reply Jesus: cease from seeking right in the eyes of the world. https://youtu.be/t1SYwRKrMuM Reply Asshole Son ! Reply Could have been a good story, but this was very poorly written. It was done by a little kid, or a foreigner. Maybe proof reading should be done to see if the story line follows smoothly… Better luck next time… Not very many views, few comments, and no subscribers??? Do a better job, and things will look up!!! Reply #4 Honor your father and your mother; seems to have been forgotten by the kids these days. and God put the 10 in order of most important first and #4 is ahead of thou shall not kill!!! and the first commandment on how to treat people; the first 3 are how to treat God!!! and now they are not even spanking the kids, but spoiling them instead; God help us understand that obedience needs to be taught and learned if we are to be pleasing to you; and successful in this life and the next. Reply Get fucking real. It appears these 'moral' lessons that are meant to warm our heart and make us emotional, do NOT reflect reality. I for one am sick of this sugar laden shit. How about some lessons in REAL fucking life? Reply Dumb kid Reply True..very true Reply Maybe it's theres a lot of truth in this but still some things, only some things are better not given when they are not asked for..
