China has announced that it will conduct large-scale military exercises close to the Taiwan Strait, amid rising tensions over the sale of US$2.2 billion (£1.7bn) worth of tanks, missiles and related equipment from the United States to Taiwan. The Ministry of Defence said in a short statement on Sunday that the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) will conduct routine drills along its ‘southeast coast’ in the coming days, without elaborating. The military drills are very likely to involve the country’s land, naval, air and rocket forces and could be a ‘high-level, large scale joint exercise,’ according to state-run Global Times.

  1. never trust & belive to mainland chinese CCP criminals politburo agents! Mao promised to Uyghurs to get back independency 60 years later… then when it was time to murdered all leaders, by a journey flight to meet them: crashing & killing all Uyghurs leaders in one time!

The Second East Turkestan Republic, commonly referred to simply as the East Turkestan Republic (ETR), was a short-lived Soviet-backed Turkic socialist people's republic. The ETR existed in the mid-1940s (November 12, 1944 – June 27, 1946) in northern Xinjiang.
