Coronavirus: NSW Premier warns against travelling to Melbourne | ABC News


New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian says she does not want to introduce a hard border closure with Victoria, despite a spike in coronavirus cases in Melbourne.

She has advised people in NSW to avoid travelling south of the border, with half a dozen local government areas in Melbourne grappling with COVID-19 hotspots.

She says the outbreaks are a wake-up call about how contagious the disease is.
