England boss Allardyce spotted in car after newspaper sting – Daily Mail

Sam Allardyce has been mercilessly mocked on social media after losing his dream job as England boss after just one game in charge. Despite being the best-paid manager in international football, Big Sam, was secretly filmed chasing a £400,000 top-up on the side. Internet users offered the 61-year-old no sympathy after he was forced to resign just 67 days in the job – the shortest ever tenure of a permanent England manager. One meme likened him to Harry Potter character Hagrid (left), who famously said ‘I shouldn’t have said that’ in the fist book. Some shared a picture of Homer Simpson hiding in a bush (right) but clearly visible and saying ‘nope’, with the caption: ‘Big Sam when you ask him if the reports are true.’
