The funeral for Mario Cerciello Rega (inset), a police officer stabbed to death in Rome on Friday, has been held in the Naples church where he married sweetheart Rosa Maria just six weeks ago (left). The emotional widow was seen resting her head on the coffin as it was carried inside (top right), while his mother and brother (bottom right) followed behind. Italian deputy leader Matteo Salvini, who has called for the two accused to be jailed for life, was pictured among the mourners the service. Gabriel Christian Natale-Hjorth, 18, and Finnegan Lee Elder, 19, are accused of stabbing Mr Rega to death on Friday last week in a drug deal gone wrong.
