As part of the UK Government’s “Roadmap out of lockdown”, the UK Government has initiated a traffic light system operational from 17 May 2021, in advance of watchful return to non-essential foreign travel. The traffic light system distributes countries into green, amber and red risk levels.
This denotes that from 17 May 2021 the “Stay in the UK” rule have stopped and international travel have been permitted to resume. The traffic light system will permit the public to comprehend COVID-19 obligations when coming to the UK. The UK Government endorse that passengers should not be travelling to amber or red countries.
