  1. The island is only 10 miles wide, and if he's in the middle that means he's only 5 miles from the coast……. Amazing to think you could get lost for so long in such a small place. I guess there's no way to know where you're going, or whether you're walking a straight line in the jungle. Well done for getting out though Ken.

  2. He had the right idea using his shoe laces. You will need something to hold the top of the stick, other than your hand. This allows it to spin easier and get slightly higher rpm.
Practice now so you can do it when you need.

  3. Alright, so most of these aren’t the persons fault at all, but this guy was just begging to get lost out there. His friends did what I would’ve done. The guy is very lucky to be alive.

  4. if he saw the Direction of the airplane and he knew where the airport was, why didnt he use that information to at least have an idea where he was going?

  5. Hate these shows!!!!! I have work in 7 hours and I only just finished my night shift 3 hours ago!!! But why not…. it’s only 48 minutes long lol

  6. Me watching this episode:
_ it looks like my place (I was kidding), Reunion island (french island in Indian Ocean)
_ 45:52 : EDENA bottle?!? (local mineral water brand)
_ 46:28 : HAHAHA, The Ermitage's Beach, the beach where I go almost every week! ^^

The reasons why an american tv show went that far to find a primary forest is quite simple:
_ they made 2 episodes of ISBA in Reunion Island (this one and the guy who lost himself in Hawai)
_ my island is totally safe (no dangerous animals at all, no snakes, no spiders and so on)

  7. use the camera lens to make a fire. eat the ants.
Edit: I just looked up the actual side of this island and at no point would he have ever had to go more than few miles in one direction.

  8. Some of these are pretty frustrating to watch. If some of these people would just quit moving around and focus on surviving in one spot they should have a much shorter and better time with this stuff.
