VICE’s Ryan Duffy went to Colombia to check out a strange and powerful drug called Scopolamine, also known as “The Devil’s Breath.” It’s a substance so intense that it renders a person incapable of exercising free will. The first few days in the country were a harrowing montage of freaked-out dealers and unimaginable horror stories about Scopolamine. After meeting only a few people with firsthand experience, the story took a far darker turn than we ever could have imagined.

  1. He flushes it down toilet in the end, and now all the fish and marine life have to suffer; and the people who eat seafood get it too… it all bioaccumulates over the lifetime of the living being.

  2. These reporters thinking they have to go into the jungle to find this drug while it’s in the flower 🌸 of the trees in town and all over the city !!! This is a dangerous flower 🌺 but more dangerous are the people who use it to rob and hurt other people !!! 😔😔😔😢😢😢😭😭😭💀💀💀

  3. This chemical would easily of been used thousands of times by the evil elites to blackmail and entice new members of their satanic cult to give up information on who they are and what they know.

  4. It’d probably be near impossible to act or appear sober, anticholinergenics are one of the most intense trips imaginable. Could you rob someone without them realizing, yes. Will they act sober instead of dancing around in a nightmarish, fever-dream like trip, probably not.

  5. Hello TO ALL OF YOU: Unfortunately, your testimony is false.:

"Claims that hyoscine is commonly used in crime have been described as "exaggerated" or even implausible.[47] Powdered hyoscine, in a form referred to as 'Devil's breath' does not 'brainwash' or control people into being defrauded by their attackers but these alleged effects are most likely urban legends.[48] Nevertheless, the drug is known to produce loss of memory following exposure and sleepiness, similar to the effect of benzodiazepines or alcohol poisoning."

    Taken from: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyoscine#Overdose

THE DRUG IS ACTUALLY HARMLESS compared to alcohol and benzodiapines.

  6. It would be interesting to know if scopolamine also works so strong, that if you give it to someone, and give him a gun and tell him to blow his brains out, so it looks like suicide, that he gladly would do it with no hesitation…?

  7. Nah

    This shit ain't scary

    The scariest is

    tobacco

Even if you know it's dangerous, you still use it.
That's the scariest, it has already taken over human society ages ago, that we no longer view it as danger.

  8. this is so inaccurate it covers nothing about the action workings of scopolamine i have some rn and can say that it might be a problem for colombia but literally nowhere else. the closest place you will find it is a datura tree in a old hippies backyard or presription sea sickness tablets

  9. A lot of this is misinformation and urban legend. It is super exaggerated and doesn't make you empty your bank accounts or anything. It works similar to Xanax and alcohol with memory loss. Don't believe everything you watch.

  10. I give credit to these guys. They interviewed some of the hardest, rawest, scariest people, to get a hold of the scariest drug in the world. They deserve awards on top of awards for always putting their lives in DIRECT danger. Even handling that stuff is a testimony about how up close they actually get to real danger.

  11. So you know what's going to happen so why even though I didn't get that shouldn't get started with it if it's that bad you already know where it's going to go in fact that's probably why you're going over there cuz she do know-# what a tangled web we weave when we practice to deceive

  12. Give someone a couple Xanx and they won't remember shit either😂 trust me I had 2 friends steal a car and drive it around town all night on q flat tire….the car eventually caught fire and burnt to the ground. Both friends woke up next morning in jail. 😂 neither one knew wtf they had done till we showed them everything. Sad
Sad situation with the drug use. It ruins many lives.
